Seattle Skyline

I truly am a city girl...smiling at heart and fully alive whenever I see the buzz of people all of whom are different than me--all living their own lives...making up their own culture--culture that creates an atmosphere of a city.  Toronto. Orlando. Seattle. Paris. Tokyo--they all have their similarities.  They all have differences. Each one calls my heart right out of my chest as I connect with each different person I see--young, old, conventional, scary, smiling, or tough.  I love every single one.  If they're drunk or homeless, rich, snooty, or mean I love them all the more.  If they're alone or together, working, reading, talking, eating, or partying--I want to talk to every single one (though time does not allow). I see other people taking in the sights or doing their own thing and I wonder if anyone else is impacted greatly at all by the culture of this city--it's individual needs...it's greatness.  I wonder who's in charge of this city and should I get a Public Administration degree so I could come back someday and help make a difference here.  Should I go and stand up in the CN Tower or the Space Needle again and overlook a city desperately loved by God, uniquely imprinted and marked by man.  If I stayed 10 years, would it be enough to make a difference?  I love this place (all of them collectively).  My heart stays behind everytime.  Souls.  Beautiful souls.  Amazing people--loved by God.  Unique in culture.  The people draw me back....
